The petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs: “a) Issuance of Writ (S), Order(S) or direction (s) in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ (s) for directing the respondent no. l to 4 to transfer the investigation to some superior investigation agency in case FIR no. 0632/2022, u/s. 306/506 IPC registered in P.S. Welcome. b) Direct the respondent No.1 to get the matter further investigated by some other independent intelligence agencies instead of police officials, in the interest of justice.” 2. However, during the pendency of the present petition, the FIR was transferred to the CAW cell and the said CAW cell has already carried out the investigation and the chargesheet is pending awaiting the FSL report. In paragraphs nos.11 to 13 of the status report dated 14.04.2026, following position has been taken by the CAW Cell: “11) During the course of investigation, a pen drive (HP, silver colour, 128 GB) was received and examined. Upon analysis, certain photographs of the victim and accused were found stored in the device which is taken on record. Further, the FSL result of the victim’s mobile phone was obtained and carefully perused. The extracted data, including chats between the victim and accused, has been analyzed and forms part of the investigation record. 12) The mobile data of accused Sajid was also retrieved and examined, Certain videos received from a third party were found, however, no photographs or videos of the victim were detected therein. The entire digital evidence collected has been preserved and is being relied upon during investigation. 13) Investigation of the case is pending, and FSL report regarding the mobile phone of the deceased is awaited. Priority letter has also been sent to the Director FSL, Rohini on dt. 19/04/25, 20/06/25, 12/11/25, 30/12/25 & 07/04/26 to expedite the result. The copy of the said DO letters has been annexed with the case file for record. Investigation will be completed at the earliest and the final report will be filed before the Hon'ble Court as soon as the pending FSL result is received.” 4. It is thus seen that nothing requires to be adjudicated. It is directed that the concerned agency to expedite the filing of the chargesheet. 5.
