Side) O R D E R The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to de-freeze the petitioner’s SB Account number 1449101023968 on the alleged instruction of respondents 3 and 4, so as to enable petitioner to operate the same. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is maintaining savings bank account with the first respondent and the petitioner’s account was freezed on the instructions of respondents 3 and 4 and in this regard, the petitioner attempted to contact the respondents through email and even after 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.14166 of 2024 many mails, the respondents did not disclose the reason for freezing of the petitioner’s account. Hence, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to disclose the reason for freezing of the petitioner’s account so as to enable the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. 3.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to send communication to the petitioner disclosing the reason for freezing of the petitioner’s account, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, so as to enable the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. 4.The writ petition is disposed of.
