The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have made a representation on 15.03.2024 requesting the respondents herein to pay the compensation payable to the subject lands under the provisions of Right to Fair Compensation, Rehabilitation and Re-settlement Act 2013 (Act No.30 of 2013). However the said representation was not considered by the respondents till date. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners’ representation dated 15.03.2024 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
