Prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of a in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners on their posts of Accountant, manned by them, as they complete more than 14 years of service in the light of the judgment passed by Hon’ble Apex Court i vs. Union of India and others” reported as 2024 SCC Online SC 3826, alongwith all consequential benefits. In this regard, the petitioners have submitted a representation dated 29.3.2026 (Annexure P-5), however, no response thereto has been received from the respondent-Department. It is accordingly prayed that accordingly a direction be issued to the respondents to treat the present writ petition as a representation and decide the case of the petitioners passing a speaking order in a time bound manner the Hon’ble Apex Court in Jaggo’s case (supra) Notice of motion.
