The petitioners are mainly aggrieved by the act of the concerned police officials who, without there being any basis, implicated petitioner no.2 for offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. Even petitioner no. 2 has eventually been discharged by the concerned Court. The petitioners, therefore, seek an action against the said authority. 2. Mr. Amol Singh, learned ASC for the State, however, points out that the concerned DCP has already issued the show cause notice to explain the conduct.
