Pursuant to the order passed on 19th March, 2026, a status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent no.2/MCD, wherein inter alia it is stated that after following due process of law, a demolition order under Section 343 of the DMC Act has been passed on 6th April, 2026. 2. A status report has also been filed on behalf of respondent no.1/BSES Yamuna Power Ltd., wherein it is stated that the subject property was inspected on 30th March, 2026 and no electricity connection was found at the subject property. 3. In light of the averments made in the status reports filed by the respondents, Mr. Navin Kumar, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file a fresh petition in respect of their grievances with regard to the subject property. 4. Accordingly, the present petitions are dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. 5. The show cause notice dated 16th March, 2026 as well as the demolition order dated 6th April, 2026 referred to in paragraph 12 of the status report filed by MCD, shall be supplied to the counsel for the petitioner within three (3) days from today.
