Therefore, he made representations dated 27.02.2023 and 20.09.2023 to the respondents 1 to 3 seeking for enhancement of compensation. However, so far no reference has been made to the District Court as per the provision. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner’s case will be referred to the District Court, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. 5.Considering the submissions made by either parties, it is evident that since the petitioner is not satisfied with the compensation awarded by the respondent for the lands acquired from him, he has made representations dated 27.02.2023 and 20.09.2023 for enhancement of compensation. However, till https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 37541 of 2024 date the reference has not been made by the respondents to the concerned District Court. 6.In view of the above, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to refer the petitioner’s claim for enhancement of compensation through his representations dated 27.02.2023 and 20.09.2023 to the concerned District Court, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is dispose of .
