1. CWP-19495-2015 – Foot Path Worker Swarojgar Bachao Sangharsh Samiti Panchkula Vs. State of Haryana was a similar matter in which through order dated 23.07.2025, directions have been issued by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court to the State as well as to the Municipal Corporation, Panchkula (for short hereinafter referred to as ‘MC Panchkula’) to ensure that a Committee, in terms of notification dated 08.10.2020 issued under Section 20 of the Street Vendor (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 (hereinafter referred as as the ‘Act of 2014’), is constituted within eight weeks from the date of passing of such DINESH BANSAL 2026.07.21 17:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

order so that persons like the petitioners who were aggrieved with regard to allotment of vending sights, could approach such Committee for relief.
2. We have been informed that in terms of the afore directions, through office order dated 07.05.2026, MC, Panchkula has constituted the said Committee.
3. In the light of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she be permitted to withdraw this petition to raise the grievance(s) taken up through this petition before the afore referred Committee.
4. Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
5. If the grievance, the liberty for which has been sought and got through this order is raised by the petitioner before the Committee, constituted as above, within one month from today, such grievance shall be considered and decided by the Committee within one month through passing of a speaking order and after granting opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners/their authorized representatives.
