Compliance affidavit filed on behalf of the opposite party is taken on record. 2. The writ Court on 15.5.2024 in Writ-A No. 6942 of 2024 had passed the following order; "1. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, an affidavit of compliance has been filed by Sri M.C. Chaturvedi, learned Senior Counsel/Additional Advocate General assisted by Sri S.K. Mishra, learned counsel for the respondents on behalf of respondent No.2/Chief Executive Officer, U. P. State Industrial Development Corporation, Kanpur today in the Court, the same is taken on record. 2. One of the arguments made by Sri M.C. Chaturvedi, learned Senior Counsel/Additional Advocate General that a Committee has already been constituted in this matter to conduct inquiry against the petitioner in the year 2017. It is stated in paragraph No.4 of the affidavit that the Inquiry Officer has already been submitted his report on 10.05.2024, copy of which is appended as Annexure No.10 to the personal affidavit. Sri M.C. Chaturvedi, learned Senior Counsel argued that the decision will be taken up by the competent authority within two months from today. 3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of In view of the undertaking given by Sri M.C. Chaturvedi, Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Om Prakash Mishra, Pradip Kumar Srivastava Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : Swapnil Kumar Deep Chand .....Applicant(s) Mayur Maheshwari, Chief Executive Officer Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation .....Opposite Party(s) learned Senior Counsel/Additional Advocate General." 3. Sri Ashish Agrawal, learned counsel appearing for opposite party, states that pursuant to the order dated 1.4.2026 passed by this Court the authority concerned had taken a decision on 1.5.2026 dropping the proceedings against the applicant. 4. As the proceedings have been dropped and application of applicant has been decided, no case for contempt is made out. Contempt application stands dismissed. Contempt notice stands discharged.
