This petition seeks issuance of direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned F.I.R. bearing FIR No.225 of 2023, under Sections 188 I.P.C., Police Station Kotwali Nagar, District Bahraich. 4. Learned AGA, on the basis of instructions, submits that charge-sheet was prepared against the petitioners, however, the Circle Officer has directed further investigation. As per averments made in the counter affidavit, learned AGA submits that further investigation is going on, however, he has no instructions in regard to current status of further investigation. 5. In view of above, it appears that either the petition has lost its efficacy or the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the matter. 6. As none is present on behalf of the petitioners to press this petition, it is, accordingly, dismissed for want of prosecution. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
