The Court: - This Court vide order dated 17th December, 2025 had directed the award-debtor to deposit the entire awarded amount before 15th January, 2026. The same could not be done within time. Thus, this Court vide order dated 30th January, 2026 extended the time period for making the deposit by a further period of one week. Till date the same has not been done, as it is evident from the office notes of the Registrar, Original Side, which are placed on record. Since the time granted has elapsed, this Court further directs the award- debtor to deposit the entire awarded amount in terms of the award dated 7th February, 2023 with up-to-date interest with the Registrar, Original Side within a further period of one week. 2 The awarded amount shall be kept in an interest bearing FDR with an auto renewal facility. Upon compliance with the aforesaid order within the stipulated period, there shall be a stay of the impugned award dated 7th February, 2023. Accordingly, AP-COM/698/2024 is disposed of.
