Patna High Court CWJC No.7050 of 2024(4) dt.18-08-2026 2/3 already been granted affiliation by the respondent-Bihar School Examination Board (for short, ‘the Board’) vide Letter No. 3747 dated 12.12.2023. 3. On a bare perusal of the aforesaid relief sought for by the petitioner-college, prima facie, this Court is of the view that the same has become infructuous in view of Resolution No. 587 dated 21.02.2024, whereby the State Government took a policy decision to discontinue Intermediate-level courses in all degree colleges of the State of Bihar with effect from the academic session 2024-26. 4.
So far as the grievance of the petitioner-college with regard to release of its pending grants on the basis of the pass-standard ratio for the Intermediate Course for the academic sessions 2010-12, 2011-13 and 2015-17 to 2021-23 is concerned, the petitioner-college shall be at liberty to approach the District Education Officer, Nalanda at Bihar Sharif, by way of a representation. 5. In case such a representation is filed before the concerned respondent, preferably within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered and appropriate decision thereon shall be taken within a further period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of such representation. 6. Suffice it to observe that, in case the claim of the petitioner-college finds favour, necessary consequential order shall be passed within the aforesaid stipulated period. 7. It is further made clear that, in case the District Education Officer, Nalanda at Bihar Sharif, finds any impediment in considering the claim of the petitioner-college, the matter shall be referred to the competent authority, who shall consider the claim of the petitioner-college and take an appropriate decision thereon in accordance with law. 8.
