1. Mr. Sujit Bugade, learned Advocate for the Applicant, submits that the Applicant was in jail during the pendency of Special POCSO Case No. 5 of 2021. He submits that the Applicant has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a total period of 20 years. Mr. Sujit Bugade, learned Advocate for the Applicant, submits that Criminal Appeal No. 186 of 2025 was admitted on 17th February 2025 and, therefore, requests that the Appeal be heard on merits.
