The Petitioners, by way of instituting the present Writ Petition, has alleged violation of the directions, passed by this Court, vide order dated 05.01.2024 in WP(C) No. 7608/2023. This Court, vide order dated 05.01.2024, had directed the Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education, to take on record the appeal, preferred by the Petitioners, on 13.09.2023, and after consideration of the contentions raised, therein, and also on getting a field verification done to dispose of the appeal by way of passing a speaking order. Page No.# 4/4 Mr. S M T Chistie, Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents has placed on record, an Order dated 06.06.2024, passed by the Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education, disposing off the appeal preferred by the Petitioners, herein. In view of the above developments taking place in the matter, this Court is of the considered view that the directions passed, vide the order dated 05.01.2024, has been complied with. Accordingly, the present Contempt Petition stands closed. The Notices issued stand recalled. Petitioner is granted liberty to assail the order dated 06.06.2024, if so advised.
