BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE NELSON SAILO HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH MAZUMDAR ORDER 10.06.2026 (Nelson Sailo, J) Heard Mr. HRA Choudhury, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. IU Chowdhury, learned counsel for the applicant, who submits that by filing this interlocutory application, the applicant seeks condonation of delay of 10 (ten) days in filing the connected appeal. [2.] Referring to the application, the learned senior counsel submits that it was on account of the applicant being detained in jail, he could not file the appeal on time and therefore, the delay being unintentional and on bonafide grounds, the application for condonation of delay may be allowed. [3.] Mr. S Chauhan, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 2 to 10 fairly submits that he has no objection to the application and that the appeal may be heard on merits. Similarly, Mr. RR Kaushik, learned Additional Public Prosecutor also agrees to the submission made by Mr. S Chauhan, learned counsel. [4.] Considering the above, and on perusal of the materials available on
Page No.# 4/4 record, this Court is inclined to condone the delay of 10 (ten) days and the application is allowed and disposed of.
[5.] Registry shall now number the connected appeal and post the matter for admission on 12.06.2026 along with Crl.A. No. 240/2024. J U D G E J U D G E
