Choudhury, J.] Heard Mr. A. Zhimomi, learned counsel for the appellants; Mr. L.T. Sagntam, learned Additional Advocate General, Nagaland for the State respondents; and Mr. C.T. Jamir, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the private respondents. 2. The learned counsel for the appellants has submitted that the issues which were involved in these writ appeals, have been settled amicably between the appellants and the private respondents; and the parties have expressed Page No. 4/5 that in view of the amicable settlement arrived at in the form of a signed Agreement dated 30.03.2026, they do not want to pursue the writ appeals. The said submission is not objected to by Mr. C.T. Jamir, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the private respondents. Mr. Sangtam, learned Additional Advocate General, Nagaland has submitted that the State respondents would have no objection to the above developments. 3. Mr. Zhimomi, learned counsel appearing for the appellants has submitted that a Letter dated 27.05.2026, addressed to him, by the appellants, Assemblies of God of East India. With the said communication, a copy of the Agreement has also been enclosed. 4. The contents of the Agreement read as under :- AGREEMENT FOR WITHDRAWAL OF W.P.[C] NO. 133/2020 This document is issued to place on record the mutual understanding reached between Nzio Ezung/Ezanbemo Ngullie and the Assemblies of God of East India [AGEI] concerning the withdrawal of W.P.[C] No. 133/2020. It is noted that the Assemblies of God of East India [AGEI], in coordination with the Nagaland Assemblies of God Council [NAGC], held a preliminary face-to-face discussion on 6th March 2026 and a formal physical meeting on 10th March 2026, during which a sincere appeal was made to Nzio Ezung and Ezanbemo Ngullie to consider the withdrawal of the said court case. In response to this request, and following constructive and prayerful discussions, Nzio Ezung/Ezanbemo Ngullie and AGEI have graciously consented to withdraw the pending court case in the Christian spirit of forgiveness, reconciliation, and unity. They have further agreed not to pursue or refile the same matter in the future, thereby fostering peace and harmony within the fellowship. Page No. 5/5 Accordingly, Nzio Ezung/Ezanbemo Ngullie and AGEI have agreed to initiate the formal process for the withdrawal and dismissal of the above- mentioned case, in accordance with the provisions of the Honourable High Court Judgment dated 22.12.2023 [Sl. nos. 17 & 18]. This decision is undertaken in good faith and with a sincere commitment to uphold Christian values of reconciliation, forgiveness, and mutual respect. This agreement therefore serves as a formal acknowledgment and commitment by the parties concerned to proceed with the withdrawal of the said case in accordance with the mutual understanding reached. In witness whereof, the undersigned have hereunto affixed their signatures on this 30th day of March 2026, affirming their agreement in good faith and with a sincere desire to uphold Christian unity, peace, and harmony. The signatories to the agreement are from both the sides. 5. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the contesting parties that the issues have been amicably settled by arriving at an Agreement with the terms and conditions incorporated therein, the writ appeals are not required to be adjudicated upon and they are accordingly disposed of. 6. The Letter dated 27.05.2026 and the copy of the enclosed agreement are to be kept as part of the case records by marking it as Document ‘X’. JUDGE JUDGE Comparing Assistant
