Mr. Madhu Jana Ms. Puja Sonkar …for the State. The petitioner is a NGO situated at Paikar Project Office. Pursuant to work order issued by the Belda-II Gram Panchayat for construction of individual household latrine, the petitioner constructed 97 latrines and completed the work satisfactorily. He submitted bill of Rs.9,70,000/- out of which Rs.2,00,000/- has been paid. The remaining amount of Rs.7,70,000/- is still due. The certificate issued by the concerned Gram Panchayat suggests that the work has been duly completed by the petitioner. The petitioner submitted a representation before the concerned authority on 8th August, 2024 through his learned advocate seeking payment of the due which is yet to be considered. The petitioner seeks consideration of the same and disbursal of the dues. In view of the fact that the petitioner has completed the work in terms of the work order issued in his favour, the Block Development Officer, Narayangarh Panchayat Samiti, being the 6th respondent herein, is directed to 2 disburse the amount of Rs.7,70,000/- in favour of the Pradhan, Belda-II Gram Panchayat, being the 11th respondent herein, within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. The 11th respondent is directed to disburse the said amount in favour of the petitioner within two weeks from the date of receipt thereof. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
