Vide judgment and award dated 9/7/2024 passed by the learned member MACT, Chirang an Award of Rs. 3,99,700/- was given along with interest of 6% from date of application till payment. The Insurance Company has filed the appeal. Now, the matter has been settled at Rs. 4,60,000/- (Rupees Four Lakh Sixty Thousand) only. The said amount shall be deposited by the Insurance Company within a period of 30(thirty) days from today before the MACT Chirang. The respondent shall be at the liberty to withdraw the aforesaid amount. Statutory deposit, if any will be allowed to be withdrawn. The amount shall be released in favour of the respondent No.1 who is the mother of the deceased child and the respondent No.2/the father shall file NOC to the satisfaction of the Tribunal. Accordingly, this appeal stands disposed of.
