Nandi, learned counsel the respondent Nos. 4 and 5. Also heard Mr. A.K. Dutta, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 6. 2. The prayers in this writ petition are made for directing the respondents to restart the payment of the monthly pension with a further direction to make payment of arrear pension up to March 2026 to date with interest at the rate of 12%. 3. The learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 4 and 5, i.e. for the disbursing authority, has submitted that the petitioner is now being paid his regular monthly pension, and this has also been endorsed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The only issue now remaining is with regard to the release of the arrear payment of pension of the petitioner with Page No.# 3/3 effect from November, 2008 to March, 2026. 4. The learned counsel for the State Bank of India submits that the relevant documents have been forwarded to the respondent No. 6 on 24th April, 2026 and Mr. A.K. Dutta, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 6 submits that he has received the copy of the forwarding of the documents and that the respondents shall sincerely pursue the matter of arrear payment of pension of the petitioner for release at the earliest possible time. 5. Accordingly, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the matter and on the assurance on behalf of the respondent No. 6, the writ petition is closed directing the respondent Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 6 to take an appropriate steps to ensure the release of the arrear pension to the petitioner within a period of 5 (five) months from the date of passing of this order. 6. This order has been passed in the presence of the learned counsel appearing for all the parties. 7. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
