1. This matter is put up before the National Lok Adalat today.
2. The Insurance Company is represented by Ms. Hena Heflongbar, Deputy Manager, New India Assurance Company Limited.
3. Though, the delay in filing the connected appeal is yet to be condoned, however, as the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, this

4. The claimants, namely, (1) Bani Rani Nath @ Bani Nath and (2) Ranapati Nath are personally present before this Court.
5. It appears that the MACT, Hailakandi had awarded the compensation amount of Rs. 7,54,000/- along with interest to the present appellant.
6. The said amount along with the interest of Rs. 2,04,138/- has already been paid by the claimant.
7. The parties have arrived at an amicable settlement of an additional amount of Rs. 3,30,000/-to be paid by the Insurance Company to the claimant. The said amount shall be paid by the Insurance Company within a period of 45 days from the date of this order.
8. This Interlocutory Application is, accordingly, disposed of.
