Mahmud for the petitioner Abdul Mannan who has filed this application under Section 482 of the Cr.PC challenging the PRC Case No. 488/2020 arising out of Jogighopa P.S. Case No. 163/2020 under Sections 448/354(B)/506/34 of the IPC. 2. Heard learned Additional Public Prosecutor Mr. B. Sharma for the respondent State and learned counsel Mr. A. Roshid for respondent No. 2, X'. 3. As the parties have amicably settled their dispute and as the informant/victim is not willing to proceed with the case, possibility of conviction appears to be remote and bleak. 4. Further proceedings will indeed be an abuse of the process of the Court. 5.
