Also heard Mr. R Dhar, learned Standing Counsel, PWD Department and Ms. S Kemprai, learned Standing Counsel, KAAC. In this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for seeking a direction to respondents to pay the regular salary to the writ petitioner as also the arrear salary. In the affidavit which was filed by the respondents, it was revealed that the petitioner has again been put under suspension and therefore, his current salary has not been released. The petitioner thereafter filed WP(C) No.7044/2025, whereby he has prayed for setting aside of the show cause Page No.# 3/3 notice dated 20.03.2024 and also seeking a direction for release of his earlier salary. In view of the subsequent writ petition being filed where the question of release of his due salary will also be an issue required to be addressed by the Court, this Court is of the view that WP(C) No.3575/2024 has become infructuous in view of the subsequent writ petition WP(C) No.7044/2025 being filed. Accordingly, the writ petition WP(C) No.3575/2024 stands dismissed as not pressed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
