The present contempt petition has been instituted alleging violation of the direction passed by this Court vide order dated 21.02.2024, in WP(C).No.863/2024. This Court vide the said order had directed the Director of Elementary Education, Assam, to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner on 15.12.2023. 3. Mr. S.M.T. Chistie, learned counsel, appearing for the respondents, has today placed on record, a speaking order passed by the Director of Elementary Education, Assam, dated 06.03.2026, wherein, on consideration of the said representation of the petitioner, the claim made by the petitioner therein, came to be rejected. A copy of the said order was also furnished to Ms. B. Devi. 4. Ms. B. Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner, has fairly submitted that with the passing of the order dated 06.03.2026, the directions passed by this Court, violation of which was alleged in the present contempt petition, has been complied with. However, she prays for liberty to assail the order dated 06.03.2026. 5. In view of the said developments taking place in the matter, this Court is of the considered view that the directions passed by this Court vide the said order dated 21.02.2024 is found to have been complied with and accordingly, the present contempt petition stands closed. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioners to assail the order dated 06.03.2026, if so advised. Page No.# 3/3 6. A copy of the order dated 06.03.2026, as furnished by Mr. S.M.T.
