JUSTICE MRIDUL KUMAR KALITA ORDER 11.03.2026 [1] Heard Mr. C. Phukan, the learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. R.K. Mahanta, the learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 3/claimants. [2] It appears that in the connected MACAppeal, the respondent Nos.4 and 5 have entered their appearance by engaging their counsel. Hence, in this interlocutory application also, their Page No.# 3/3 appearance may be shown. [3] The learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that in the meanwhile, the applicant has already deposited 50% of the awarded amount before the Registry of this court on 11.11.2024, in pursuant to the directions of this court by order dated 05.08.2024. [4] The learned counsel for the claimant/respondent does not have any objection. [5] Considering the fact that the applicant/insurance company has already deposited 50% of the awarded amount before the Registry of this court, the execution of the impugned judgment and award dated 05.08.2019, passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Lakhimpur in MAC Case No. 04/2017 shall remain stayed during the pendency of the connected MACAppeal No. 245/2024.
