Alom, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. A.K. Sahewalla, learned counsel for the respondents. The petitioner, namely, Gunin Roy, passed away during the pendency of the Page No.# 2/2 petition. This was recorded in the order dated 25.10.2024. Thereafter, on several occasions, opportunities were granted to the petitioner to file necessary application for substitution of the legal heirs of the petitioner. It is submitted that inspite of steps taken by the learned counsel for the petitioner, no instructions have been received from the legal heirs of the petitioner for taking necessary steps for substitution of the legal heirs of Late Gunin Roy. Considering the time that has elapsed since the date the learned counsel for the petitioner informed the Court that the petitioner had expired during the pendency of the present petition, the Arbitration petition therefore stands abated.
