Also heard Mr. D P Goswami, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 430 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for suspension of sentence and for allowing the applicant to go on bail. 3. The applicant Joynal Abedin was sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment in respect of Sessions Case No.58/2021 pending in the Court of the learned Sessions Judge, South Salmara, Mankachar. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 5. It is hereby directed that the sentence imposed upon the applicant Joynal Abedin by Page No.# 3/3 the learned Sessions Judge, South Salmara, Mankachar in Sessions Case No.58/2021 shall remain stayed till disposal of the connected appeal. 6. The applicant Joynal Abedin is allowed to go on bail of ₹25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, South Salmara, Mankachar. 7.
