This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking the following prayer: “……pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the delay and inaction on the part of the Respondents No.2 to 4 in not considering, registering or acting upon the complaint dated 23.04.2026 submitted by the petitioner to the 4th respondent as illegal, arbitrary, and violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents No.2 to 4 to register the FIR and take appropriate legal action against the unofficial respondents and pass such other order or orders”. 2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner on record would submit that the Writ Petition was filed against the inaction of the respondent police in not registering the crime pursuant to the complaint. Subsequent to filing of this Writ Petition, the police authorities have registered the crime and investigated into. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. The petition may be disposed of, since the relief has become infructuous in this matter. 3.
