GUNESHWAR SHARMA ORDER 19.02.2026 [1] Heard Mr. N. Jotendro, learned sr. counsel assisted by Md. Syed Murtaza Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. Kaminikumar, learned counsel for the respondent. [2] It is stated that the petitioner had undertaken work for the Manipur Industrial Development Corporation Limited (in short MANIDCO) in connection with work order no. MANDICO/IDC/LNIPE/WO/18/11/01 dated 28.02.2018 for the Land Development of Construction Areas Phase-I at LNIPE Tepesia Sports Complex, Sonapur Guwahati. After the completion of work, the bill amount of Rs. 13,51,862/- (Rupees thirteen lakh fifty one thousand eight hundred and sixty two) only remained as outstanding and by the present petition, the petitioner approached this Court for release of the undisputed outstanding bill amount of Rs. 13,51,862/-. [3] Mr. N. Jotendro, learned sr. counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition may be disposed of by directing the respondent to release undisputed amount within a stipulated time. [4] Mr. S. Kaminikumar, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent is awaiting for release of the fund and the outstanding amount can be paid as and when the fund is released. [5] This Court is of the opinion that since the amount is not disputed by the parties, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to release the balance amount of Rs. 13,51,862/- (Rupees thirteen lakh fifty one thousand eight hundred and sixty two) only after proper verification within a period of 4(four) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. [6] With these observations, the W.P. (C) No. 61 of 2024 is disposed of. [7] Interim order, if any, is merged with the final order.
