The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents have not granted the Minimum Time Scale of pay to the petitioner and have not regularized his services as a Typewriting Instructor in O.A. (Office Assistantship) on par with regular employees, by granting relaxation of the conditions laid down in Andhra Pradesh Act 2 of 1994, even though the petitioner has been working for the past 25 years as a Part-Time Typewriting Instructor which is illegal and arbitrary. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed seeking extension of the Minimum Time Scale of pay attached to the said post, placing reliance on the law laid down by the Hon’ble Apex Court in State of Punjab v. Jagjit Singh (2017) and others1. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. Considering the same, without going into the merits of the case this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for extending payment of minimum time scale in terms of the judgment rendered by the Hon’ble Apex court in State of Punjab vs. Jagjit Singh and others within a period of two(02) months from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order.
