GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: The Writ Petition has been filed for the following relief: “…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the Respondent Nos.2 to 4 in failing to initiate further action for conducting the investigation and filing the charge sheet in FIR No.530 of 2023 dt.01.08.2023 on the file of 4th respondent registered against the against 5th respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468. 506 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 (1) (r), 3 (1) (s), 3 (2) (va) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention Of Atrocities) Act, 1989 on petitioners complaint dt. 01.08.2023 and not subjecting the accused to the process of arrest and judicial remand, as being amounting to non discharge of legal obligation conferred on the respondents under the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and violative of Article 14 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents 2 to 4 to complete the investigation and file Charge Sheet against the accused person in the said crime expeditiously and pass…” 2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3. Mr. Ananda Kumar Vejandla, learned counsel for the Petitioner, submits that Respondent Nos.2 to 4 have failed to investigate and file the charge sheet in FIR No.530 of 2023 on the file of Ongole Taluk Police Station, Prakasam District. 4. The Inspector of Police, Ongole Taluk Police Station, Prakasam District, is present. The Inspector and Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that in this case, the charge sheet has already been filed on 14.04.2026. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and recording the submissions of the Inspector of Police and the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the learned Jurisdictional 3 Magistrate to expedite the process of hearing and bring the case to its logical conclusion. 6.
