The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of Respondent No.3 in insisting the Petitioner to submit the medical bills even though he received all the bills from Respondent No.2 and intentionally not disbursing the amount of Rs.1,00,200/- for treatment of COVID-19 as per G.O.RT.No.30, Health, Medical and Family Welfare (I.1) Department, dated 29.01.2021 and to declare the same as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The facts in brief are as follows; The Petitioner had worked as a Lecturer and retired in the year 2008 while working in SGA Government Degree College, Yellamanchili, Visakhapatnam. In August, 2020, the Petitioner took treatment for COVID-19 at Pradhama Hospital in Visakhapatnam and had incurred the expenditure of Rs.1,00,200/-. The Petitioner submitted the bills through proper channel as treatment of COVID-19 was also included under medical reimbursement vide G.O.RT.No.30, dated 29.01.2021. The bills have been forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer of then Dr. YSR Arogya Sri Health Trust. However the amounts were not disbursed to the Petitioner till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed. 4 3. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents would submit that the case of the Petitioner would be examined by the Respondent-authorities and disbursal of the amounts claimed would be made subject to the eligibility of the Petitioner open re-submission of bills. 4. Heard the respective counsels. 5. G.O.RT.No.30, dated 29.01.2021 was issued including the treatment for COVID-19 under Medical Reimbursement Scheme within the State and outside the State also at that point of time. The Petitioner who took COVID-19 treatment at Pradhama Hospital, Visakhapatnam had submitted the bills to the Principal of the SGA Government Degree College, Yellamanchili, Visakhapatnam and the same were forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer, then Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust through the Special Commissioner of Collegiate Education vide Lr.Rc.No.696-1/MR & NOC/2020, dated 13.03.2021. 6. The said bill was returned vide letter in Rc.No.14/B/2021, dated 21.06.2021 to the Petitioner. Though the Petitioner submits that bills were re-submitted, there is nothing to substantiate the same. 7. Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with the following directions; 5 i) The Petitioner shall re-submit the medical bills along with the relevant documents for medical reimbursement towards COVID-19 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; ii) On receipt of the same, the Respondent-authorities shall examine the same and disburse the amounts to the Petitioner as per the procedure within a period of six (6) weeks thereafter; iii) No order as to costs. 8.
