Yobin, Adv for R/9 The aforesaid petition was disposed of vide order dated 29th July, 2026 and is kept today for recording compliance of some of the commitments made by the Shillong Municipal Board. 2. Mr. Dey, learned counsel for the Board has submitted an affidavit-cum-status report on record the compliances made by the said Board. The said compliance affidavit is taken on record. 3. It appears that most of the street vendors have been handed over the designated vending spaces. As far as some street vendors are concerned, in paragraph 12 of the said compliance affidavit, it is stated as under: Serial No.01 Daily List 2026:MLHC:797-DB “12. That the process of settlement of the remaining eligible street vendors is continuing, and the Shillong Municipal Board, in coordination with the Provisional Town Vending Committee and other stakeholders, shall continue to facilitate their resettlement at the designated vending zones in accordance with the applicable provisions of law and the Meghalaya Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme, 2023.” 4. Mr. Dey, learned counsel assures that even the said process of some of the remaining eligible street vendors will be decided at the earliest. Statement accepted. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute that the order dated 29th July, 2026 has been complied with. What is stated in paragraph 12 to also be complied with, as stated aforesaid by the Board. Hence, no further orders. (W.
