IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK
W.P. (C) No.18049 of 2024
Lilabati Nag @ Lila Nag …. Petitioner
Mr. B.S. Panigrahi, Advocate
-versus-
Surendra Tanty …. Opp. Party
CORAM:
JUSTICE MRUGANKA SEKHAR SAHOO
Order No.
ORDER 07.03.2026 (Hybrid Mode)
01.
1. The wife in the marriage is the petitioner before this Court. By filing the petition, she had challenged the order dated 12.12.2023 passed by the learned Judge, Family Court, Rourkela in Civil Proceeding No.268 of 2015. By the said order, the prayer of the petitioner to call six witnesses for examination on her behalf was rejected on the ground that the matter was pending since 2015 and adopting such course of calling more witnesses would delay the matter.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner files memo of date which indicates thus:
“In the aforementioned case since the original proceeding i.e. C.P. No.268 of 2015 out of which the present writ petition arises has already been disposed of the present writ petition has become infructuous.”
The memo shall be taken on record. Scanned copy be updated.
3. The writ petition stands disposed of.
