1. By this petition, the petitioner herein has alleged non-compliance of an order passed by this Court on 23.11.2022 in case titled “Inder Singh Soodan vs. UT of J&K and Others. The relevant extract of the
order reads thus: -
“With the consensus of learned counsel for the parties, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 3 to consider the case of the petitioner as regards the payment of admitted liability along with interest, preferably within a period of two months from the date a copy of this order along with the copy of the writ petition is served upon the respondents.”
2. Ms. Chetna Manhas, learned counsel has produced copy of the compliance report which is stated to have been filed by the respondents on 03.06.2026, wherein it is stated that in pursuance to the directions passed by this Court in WP (C) No. 834/2022 dated 23.11.2022, respondents have considered the claim of the petitioners Sr. No. 17

and have submitted the bill amounting to Rs. 3,60,000/- to the concerned treasury for necessary payment. The said amount shall be credited into the petitioner’s bank account.
3. Respondents have also annexed the treasury voucher to the tune of Rs. 3,60,000/- .which amount is to be transferred to the account of the petitioner.,
4. Concerned treasury is directed to release the amount of Rs. 3,60,000/- in the account of the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of passing of this order.
5. Respondents have implemented the order dated 23.11.2022 in its letter and spirit as such, nothing survives in the instant contempt petition. The proceedings in contempt petition are, accordingly, closed.
