Chullai, learned AAG has submitted that since 26th September, 2025 the petitioners have failed to appear before this Court in spite of several notices being issued in this regard. It is prayed that necessary orders may be passed. This Court has considered the submission made and has also perused the office record which shows that vide communication dated 18.05.2026 the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Shillong has communicated to the Deputy Registrar, High Court of Meghalaya indicating therein that the notice issued upon the petitioner Shri. Nickystar Nongrang was delivered on 27.04.2026 and duly received by his aunt. Accordingly, this Court being convinced of the fact that notice has been received by all the petitioners herein and since they have failed to appear before this Court, this petition is hereby dismissed for default.
