Petitioner through medium of this petition has challenged communication made by respondent No. 4- Tehsildar Jammu Development Authority, Jammu to the police concerned for registration of a case on a complaint filed against the petitioner. 02. As per the status report filed on 24.09.2024, the case has been registered pursuant to the impugned communication vide FIR No. 81/2023 for the commission of offences under sections 447/188 IPC and that the matter is under investigation. 03. In view of the status report filed by the police concerned, the matter has been rendered infructuous as the communication has already been acted upon resulting into registration of a criminal case and the petitioner shall have a fresh and further cause of action in case he chooses so. 04. Be that as it may, the petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous, along with application (s). Interim direction, if any, shall stand revoked.
