CMP No.16735 of 2026 The present application under Section 151 CPC has been filed for early hearing on the strength of the decision passed in LPA No.797 of 2025, titled as State of Himachal Pradesh and another Vs. Sarita Devi, decided on 19.11.2025. 2. Counsel for the appellants-State pointed out that in connected matters, the State had filed SLP(C) No. 021450 of 2026, titled as State of Himachal Pradesh Vs. Bahadur Singh, which was decided on the same terms as Sarita Devi’s case (supra). The operation of this order was stayed by the Apex Court on 27.05.2026. 3. In such circumstances, since the matter had been adjourned sine die on account of a matter pending before the Apex Court, we are of the considered opinion that the said application for early hearing is not liable to be allowed. 4.
