Suresh, learned counsel for the Principal Accountant General, Manipur submits that he has filed counter affidavit in both the writ petitions. However, Mr. S. Niranjan, learned GA for the State respondents submits that counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of Treasury, however, on behalf of Administrative is yet to file counter affidavit and prays for 3(three) weeks’ time for filing counter affidavit. [2] Mr. N. Jotendro, learned sr. counsel assisted by Mr. Syed Murtaza Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that matter is pending for 3 years and matter requires expedited. The learned sr. counsel for the petitioners further submits that petitioner in WP(C) No. 342 of 2024 has expired without any LRs and matter may be closed. [3] In the circumstances, WP(C) No. 342 of 2024 is closed as abetted. [4] 3(three) weeks’ time is granted to the State respondents for filing counter affidavit, if counter affidavit is not filed by the next date, the matter will be heard on the available records.
