By means of this writ petition, he has sought the following reliefs:- “i. Issue a writ, order or direction to pass an order or direction in nature of mandamus by setting aside the promotional order dated 04.07.2023 as illegal and unlawful and also declare the promotion of respondent no. 4 to 10 as null and void-ab-initio. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction to allow the representations dated 18.07.2023 (annexed in Annexure no. 7 to this Writ petition) forwarded by the petitioner with reference to the abovementioned orders.” 3. After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition may be disposed of by permitting petitioner to make fresh representation. 4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting petitioner to make fresh representation before the competent authority. If he makes representation within two weeks, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within eight weeks thereafter.
