By means of the present C-482 application, the applicants have sought quashing of the cognizance order dated 25.11.2022 as well as the charge-sheet dated 16.09.2022 and the proceedings of Criminal Case No.3364 of 2022 (FIR No.29 of 2022) cited as “State vs. Zaheer Ahmad & Others” under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, Police Station Bhimtal, District Nainital, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nainital. 2. Since the Criminal Miscellaneous Application No.1803 of 2022, ‘Tafseer Ahmad Saifi vs. State of Uttarakhand and another’ of the main accused- Tafseer Ahmad Saifi has already been allowed by this Court on 03.07.2026 therefore, the present Criminal Miscellaneous Application of the other co-accused persons is also allowed in terms of the order dated 03.07.2026, passed in connected Criminal Miscellaneous Application No.1803 of 2022, Tafseer Ahmad Saifi vs. State of Uttarakhand and Another. Consequently, the cognizance order dated 25.11.2022, charge-sheet dated 16.09.2022 as well as the proceedings of Criminal Case No.3364 of 2022 (FIR No.29 of 2022) titled as “State vs. Zaheer Ahmad & Others” under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, Police Station Bhimtal, District Nainital, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nainital are hereby quashed. 3.
