(Oral) Learned counsel representing the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, who is present in Court, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to file afresh, at an appropriate stage, if required and desired. Ordered accordingly. 2. Having taken note of the fact that FIR in the case at hand was lodged in the year 2011 and till date, prosecution has been able to examine only one witness, out of 64, coupled with the fact that on account of lodging of FIR, petitioner is not being promoted to higher post, this Court hopes and trusts that learned trial Court would make 2 all out efforts to conclude the trial expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six months. Mr. Anish Banshtu, learned Deputy Advocate General, undertakes to render proper assistance on behalf of the prosecution, enabling learned trial Court to conclude the trial in terms of instant order passed by this Court. Registry is directed to apprise learned trial Court with regard to passing of the instant order. It is made clear that application, if any, for extension of time shall not be appreciated.
