Chauhan, learned DAG, Mr. Pramod Tewari, learned AGA assisted by Mr. Vikash Uniyal, learned Brief Holder, for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. In the High Court of Uttarakhand, the present case arises from Bail Application filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking regular bail for the Applicant – Ajay Singh @ Ajji, who has been accused in FIR No.05 of 2026, dated 15.01.2026 under Sections 8/20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, at Chalani Police Station Salt, District Almora. The Applicant is languishing in jail since 16.01.2026. 4. Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the co- accused has been enlarged on bail by this Court in BA 1st No.167 of 2026, vide order dated 26.02.2026, and it is a case of parity. 5. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, the Applicant has made out a case for bail. 6. Accordingly, bail application is allowed. It is directed that the Applicant - Ajay Singh @ Ajji, who has been accused in FIR No.05 of 2026, dated 15.01.2026 under Sections 8/20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, at Chalani Police Station Salt, District Almora, be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond with two reliable sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned court.
