1. By of the present application, the parties seek disposal of the Writ Petition in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties before Samadhan, Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Delhi High Court, Sher Shah Road, New Delhi vide Settlement Agreement dated
15.07.2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in terms of the Settlement Agreement, the petitioner has agreed to pay an amount of Rs.5,00,000/-, in two equal installments, vide Demand Drafts bearing No.002927 for an amount of Rs.2,50,000/- and No.002928 for an amount of Rs.2,50,000/- dated 19.06.2026 drawn on Union Bank respectively, to the respondent/claimant towards full and final settlement.

3. The respondent submits that the amount under the settlement agreement has been received and nothing more is required to be paid subject to encashment of the aforesaid demand drafts. The settlement is also taken on record and the parties shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties, 75% of the awarded amount lying deposited with the Registrar General of this Court may be released to the petitioner alongwith the interest accrued thereupon.

Learned counsel for the respondent also acknowledges the aforesaid and submits that he has no objection if the aforesaid amount is released to the petitioner.
6. In view of the above, let the deposited amount lying with the Registrar General of this Court, alongwith the interest accrued thereupon, be released to the petitioner.
7. In view of the above, the present application is disposed of. W.P.(C) 494/2023, CM APPL. 1973/2023 (Interim Stay) and CM APPL. 1974/2023 (to file additional document)
In view of the orders passed in CM APPL. 51448/2026, the present petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the same is disposed of alongwith the pending applications.
