This writ petition has been fled for grant of following substantive reliefs:-
“(i) That the authorities may be directed to conduct proper investigation regarding the FIR registered with police and regarding illegal mining being conducted. (ii) Police may also be directed to register FIR under Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.”

Respondents have filed reply. Respondents have also filed affidavit of Superintendent of Police, District Nurpur, H.P. and Mining Officer Nurpur, District Kangra.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of reply & affidavits filed by the respondents, petitioner intends to seek redressal of his grievances at the first instance, before the appropriate Forum/Competent Authority.

In view of above, present writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn at this stage. It shall be open for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy for the redressal of his grievances raised in this writ petition before the appropriate Forum/Competent Authority.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also to stand disposed of.
