(ii) Police may also be directed to register FIR under Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.” 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 2. Respondents have filed reply. Respondents have also filed affidavit of Superintendent of Police, District Nurpur, H.P. and Mining Officer Nurpur, District Kangra. 3. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of reply & affidavits filed by the respondents, petitioner intends to seek redressal of his grievances at the first instance, before the appropriate Forum/Competent Authority. 4. In view of above, present writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn at this stage. It shall be open for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy for the redressal of his grievances raised in this writ petition before the appropriate Forum/Competent Authority.
