On 28.01.2026, the following order was passed: ““““Present petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail in No.0518 dated 18.10.2025, registered under Sections 118(2), 115(2) and 3(5) of BNS, registered at Police Station Tarn Taran. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the occurrence had took place on 19.09.2025, however, the FIR was thereafter, i.e. on 18.10.2025. He submits that even levelled against the petitioner were enquired and 13.11.2025, the allegations against the petitioner submits that no prima facie case is made out deserves to be granted the concession of Notice of motion. He shall abide by the following conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023:- (i) That the petitioner shall make himself available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required. (ii) That the petitioner shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the court or to any police officer. (iii) That the petitioner shall not leave India without prior permission of the court.” ” ” ” 3. Learned State counsel (on instructions) has stated that pursuant to the order dated 28.01.2026, the petitioner has joined investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon perusal of the record; especially in view of the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and his custodial interrogation is not being sought by the State; the interim order dated 28.01.2026 passed by this Court is made absolute, subject to the conditions as enumerated under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023. 5. Petition stands allowed allowed allowed allowed, accordingly. 6. This order should not be treated as “blanket” order. It will not be read as granting petitioner indefinite protection from arrest. It shall be confined to the FIR mentioned ibid and will not operate in respect of any other incident that involves commission of an offence. 7. Liberty is reserved in favour of State/complainant to move for cancellation/recall of this order in case the petitioner violates any condition stipulated under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023 or upon showing any other sufficient cause. 8.
