The reference made by the Government on 22.06.2015 raising 25 issues / charter of demand. The Labour Court found that though a settlement dated 27.10.2021 was arrived at between the Management and Union, however, for reasons recorded in the said judgment, the Labour Court found that the settlement dated 27.10.2021 cannot be implemented and accordingly, passed the impugned orders. 3. Now both the parties have reconciled and Union has filed a memo stating that they would accept the terms of settlement dated 27.10.2021. “2. It is respectfully submitted that the above said IA No.02 of 2022 has been filed by the Petitioner Management herein seeking to pass an award in terms of the settlement dated 27.10.2021 and the Hon’ble Industrial Tribunal has rejected the said IA No.02 of 2022 in the common award passed on 01.03.2023. 3. In view of the settlement arrived at between the Management and Five Man Commitee, the impugned order dated 01.03.2023 in ID No.20 of 2015 on the file of the Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Chennai is set aside. However, the settlement dated 27.10.2021 shall be taken on record. 5. This Writ Petition is allowed accordingly, in terms of the settlement arrived as per the memo filed by the first respondent union. No costs.
