It is brought to the notice of this Court that against the order of this Court in W.P.No.26319 of 2017 and batch, the respondents/State had preferred a Writ Appeal vide W.A.No.1184 of 2025 and batch and that the aforesaid writ appeals were taken up for hearing yesterday ie., 06.08.2026 and heard in part. 3. Since, the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court is seized of the appeals filed by the State against the order of this Court in W.P.No.26319 of 2017 and batch and the said appeals having been part heard, this Court is of the view that it cannot proceed parallelly with the contempt petitions and has to wait the result of the writ appeal filed by the respondents. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Cont.P.Nos.2547 to 2556 of 2023 4.
