The case of the petitioners is that a representation was submitted on 30.03.2023 to the 4th respondent, requesting the entry of the name of the petitioners’ grandfather, B.P. Ramasamy, as the owner/pattadar, and subsequently the names of the petitioners, in the revenue records for the lands in Survey Nos. 216/1, 217/1, 223/1, and 223/2, situated at Vagurappampatty, Karimangalam Taluk. Since the 4th respondent has failed to consider the said representation till date, the petitioners have filed the present Writ Petition seeking appropriate relief. __________ Page2 of 5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 17207 of 2023 3. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents, submitted that the petitioner’s representation dated 30.03.2023 would be considered by the respondents 2 to 4 and appropriate orders would be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioners as well as other interested parties. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the petitioners’ representation dated 30.03.2023. The respondents 2 to 4 shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing prior notice to the petitioners as well as the counter-parties, and affording them an opportunity of a personal hearing. 5.
