Heard the learned counsel on either side. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Madurai, by order dated 31.01.2023 made 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.19205 of 2023 in P.G.No.191 of 2022, directed payment of the interest amount of Rs.2,17,737/- on the gratuity amount of Rs.10,56,038/-, the said order has not been complied with by the second respondent. He would further submit that the second respondent is also bound to comply with the directions issued by the first respondent in Circular Na.Ka.No.22735/2018 dated 13.01.2020. Hence, the petitioner seeks appropriate directions from this Court. 4. The learned Counsel for State appearing for the first respondent submitted that an appropriate direction may be issued to the second respondent to comply with the order passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Madurai in accordance with law. 5. Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim, this Court directs the second respondent to comply with the order passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Madurai in P.G.No.191 of 2022 dated 31.01.2023 by disbursing the interest amount of Rs.2,17,737/- payable on the gratuity amount of Rs.10,56,038/- and also to comply with the directions issued by the first respondent in Circular 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.19205 of 2023 Na.Ka.No.22735/2018 dated 13.01.2020, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the said order has not already been complied with and if there is no legal impediment. 6.
