Thereby, the petitioner made a petition on 23.01.2023, before the first respondent under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The said petition was forwarded to the Revenue Division Officer, who after conducting an enquiry passed an order dated 11.07.2023, dismissing the petition. Thereafter, the petitioner preferred appeal before the first respondent, who in turn by order dated 06.10.2023 confirmed the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer.
